MAICOPRESSE S.p.A. currently operates on a covered area of about 14000
m2 . Its work force consists of nearly 125 people and it is a dynamic
company that pays attention to the market demands and requests; its main
target is the steady development of advanced techniques in order to
offer die-casting machines suitable to cope with the most challenging
problems of foundry business field.
This company was established in 1975 with the aim of manufacturing
die-casting machines; MAICOPRESSE is constantly trying to find out
solutions that can improve machines both mechanically and
technologically. This is carried out thanks to a close
collaboration with its own customers and through the work of its
R&D and technical department.
As time went by and thanks to the great experience gathered while
carrying out its activities MAICOPRESSE was able to launch itself on
the market with its own lines of die-casting machines:
GK clamping force ranging from 230 to 3500 t.
GKL clamping force ranging from 350 to 2000 t.
MAICOPRESSE S.p.A. is a dynamic company that pays attention to market
demands and requests, developing advanced technologies thanks to the
experience gathered during more than 20 years; this is the reason why
one of its main efforts is to find out solutions that help lowering
die-casting machines running and management costs and that are able to
cope with the most challenging problems of this field. This research
led to the development of the so called “ E- version ” , a die-casting
machine equipped with electric and hydraulic units with low energy
consumption and a dedicated software.
This revolution focuses on machine management and operation and aims to a better use of available resources..
The special hydraulic unit which is the result of more than 10 years
of experience, enables to make the best of inverter technology
possibilities.
Pump electric motor is fully managed by INVERTER; this device enables
electric energy saving up to 40% by changing speed according to
settings on screen made by operator for all different movements.
You use only the power necessary for that particular movement while for
the remaining of working cycle the motor is brought to a min. speed thus
allowing to have nearly no energy consumption. Thanks to the use of
inverter technology you can set machine movements (accelerations,
decelerations and speed) even with no dedicated proportional valves.

SpA is known on the market as a company producing
termoplast-automatic machines too (more than 18 years of work in this field) with
models such as " TEK / S " (320 up to 2500 t.), " CORSA " (290 up
to 3200 t.), and the last production model " SAVING " (110 up to 1100 t.) - for the production of plastic parts, which requires a very
lohg piston length.
IROBI Inc. was extablished in 1985 through the initiative of an engineers group with deep knowledge in automation applied to injection molding machines for plastics. Its products, its innovative solutions, its technologies have helped to diffuse new and higher sector standard in the world productive field.
A series of consolidated partnerships allowed the company to rapidly evolve and reach important technological sight and commercial successes in the international field.
